US death toll in Iraq passes 4,000

Bahrain News.Net
Monday 24th March, 2008

The number of American military personnel killed during the U.S.-led war in Iraq has reached 4,000, days after the war entered its sixth year.

A White House spokesperson, Dana Perino, Monday said President Bush mourns every life lost during the conflict.

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said Monday, “Every single loss of a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine is keenly felt by us in the department, by military commanders, by families and friends both in theater and at home.”

Whitman stressed that no casualty is more significant than another. “Each soldier, Marine, sailor or airmen is equally precious, and each loss of life is equally tragic,” he said.

Whitman called attention to the sacrifices by coalition allies and by Iraqi forces. “Their sacrifices are just as tragic, and their contributions are equally valuable,” he said. “And our thoughts are with those families also.”

Eight U.S. government civilians have also died in Iraq. More than 16,000 U.S. government civilians have deployed to Iraq since 2003.

Meantime President Bush was due to participate in a two-hour video conference later Monday with the top U.S. Commander in Iraq, General David Petraeus, and Ryan Crocker, the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq.

Petraeus and Crocker are due to testify in Congress on April 8 and 9. President Bush wants to get their latest thinking on whether to continue withdrawing troops, due to a recent drop in violence, or to take a pause to assess the situation.

A roadside bomb blast in Diyala province Monday killed two Iraqi soldiers and wounded four others.

The estimated number of Iraqi deaths blamed on five years of war ranges from the tens of thousands to the hundreds of thousands.

In addition to the the human loss, the war in Iraq is reported to have cost the United States hundreds of billions of dollars.

Meanwhile, the Mahdi army militia of radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr called a strike in parts of west Baghdad Monday. The group said in a statement that it took the action to protest raids by U.S. and Iraqi forces against members of its army in recent weeks.

Pray to Alllah or DIE!!!!

It is no secret that Islam’s goal is world rule, and I am not simply giving vent to some right-wing political/religious conspiracy. World dominance is the stated aim of Islam. It sees itself swallowing up the non-Islamic world-and it means to do so with whatever means are available. Though not all Muslims would fully commit to such a grand, and monstrous, undertaking, still it is part of the religion’s doctrinal system. Therefore, the world goal contributes to Islam’s cultic tendencies.

Bush sympathetic as war toll hits 4,000
24 Mar.`08 WASHINGTON - Marking a grim milestone, a determined President Bush declared Monday the lives of 4,000 U.S. military men and women who have died in Iraq “were not lost in vain." The White House signaled anew that additional troops won’t be pulled out soon.

]
A roadside bomb in Baghdad killed four U.S. soldiers Sunday night, pushing the death toll to 4,000. That number pales compared with those of other lengthy U.S. wars, but it is much higher than many Americans, including Bush, ever expected after the swift U.S. invasion of Iraq five years ago. Bush proclaimed the end of major combat operations in Iraq in May 2003. Almost all of the U.S. deaths there have happened since then.

“One day people will look back at this moment in history and say, 'Thank God there were courageous people willing to serve, because they laid the foundations for peace for generations to come,'" Bush said after a State Department briefing about long-term diplomacy efforts. “I have vowed in the past, and I will vow so long as I’m president, to make sure that those lives were not lost in vain that, in fact, there is an outcome that will merit the sacrifice," Bush said.

The news of 4,000 dead in Iraq came the week after the war rolled into its sixth year, dominating most of Bush’s presidency. Almost 30,000 U.S. service members have been wounded in the war. Early in April, Bush is expected to announce the next steps in the war, and he is likely to embrace a pause in any troop withdrawals beyond those scheduled to end this July.

Well it seems obvious you know nothing of whats going on, from reading your post. Islam is trying to take over the world this person says. Is it Islam that invaded Iraq? Islam that is putting it’s dominance over nations. Is it Islam that has it’s hand in everyones oil pocket? As far as your post being right wing, whatever the hell that means, I think anyone who uses politics as a source for whats happening in the real world, is blind. Take a look around, everytime a tribe, nation or peoples were invaded in history, the invader ends up getting his ass kicked. So who are you fooling with your monetary slavery pushing false propaganda anyway? Maybe your the only one left thats fooled.

Islam is in fact on the march globally.

All of the below countries and regions have had Islamic terrorism/Jihadist or political Islam CAIR type groups attempting to influence local politics.

It’s all about Iraq, isn’t it?

Yep, it’s all about Iraq and...

India and the Sudan and Algeria and Afghanistan and New York and Pakistan and Israel and Russia and Chechnya and the Philippines and Indonesia and Nigeria and England and Thailand and Spain and Egypt and Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia and Ingushetia and Dagestan and Turkey and Kabardino-Balkaria and Morocco and Yemen and Lebanon and France and Uzbekistan and Gaza and Tunisia and Kosovo and Bosnia and Mauritania and Kenya and Eritrea and Syria and Somalia and California and Argentina and Kuwait and Virginia and Ethiopia and Iran and Jordan and United Arab Emirates and Louisiana and Texas and Tanzania and Germany and Australia and Pennsylvania and Belgium and Denmark and East Timor and Qatar and Maryland and Tajikistan and the Netherlands and Scotland and Chad and Canada and China and Nepal
and the Maldives and...

...and pretty much wherever Muslims believe their religion tells them to:

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah, ... nor follow
the religion of truth... until they pay the tax in acknowledg-ment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection."
Qur’an, Sura 9:29

Sad how this board is policed monitored and posts not only changed but deleted yet any hate filled anti-american/Christian rant bullshit posts is allowed to exist unhindered.
Nothing like impartial and fair press.
Fucking Muslim/Australian controlled.
