Bahraini authorities have issued a new order specifying the working hours at government offices and other establishments during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Bahrain's Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa has issued a circular stating that working hours at all governmental ministries and general establishments will be from 8 a.m.to 2 p.m., the state-run Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Gulf-based astronomers have said that the holy month is likely to start Sep 1, when the moon's crescent will be sighted. Bahrain is home to around 290,000 expatriate Indians.
