(260402) -- UNITED NATIONS, April 2, 2026 (Xinhua) -- Jamal Fares Alrowaiei (C, Rear), Bahrain's permanent representative to the United Nations, holds a press briefing at the UN headquarters in New York, on April 1, 2026. The UN Security Council will focus on the Middle East in April, taking up issues concerning Iran, Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank, Alrowaiei, also president of the council for the month, said Wednesday.
